So why are the tickets for the Vancovuer show, good seats, $125 while the same seats for the Seattle show are only $90 usd. The last time i looked the Canadian dollar was at par or slightly higher than the USD.. What's the scam here?

Re: Different Ticket Prices
Tue, November 27, 2007 - 7:19 PMCanadian money is worth more. Doesnt that make it about even? I'm not sure. I saw a story on the news about a month ago that was about how people from Canada are coming to the US to shop because they get more for their money here. Kinda of like how Americans go to Mexico because their money goes further. And when Australians or the British visit here their money goes a long way here. But they have still been paying alot more for gas for many years. -

Re: Different Ticket Prices
Wed, November 28, 2007 - 8:46 PMYoure not paying higher if your money is worth more than the dollar. It evens out. I think Cirque is smart enough to know what theyre doing is fair. But feel free to e-mail them. Good luck with the response. lol Can anyone step in and explain this better than me please? : )

Re: Different Ticket Prices
Thu, November 29, 2007 - 1:51 AMPrices do not shift with changes in monetary value between nations; prices shift as demand or supply changes.
The price in Canada will start to go down if people aren't paying it. If the tent is full every night, they've no reason to lower the price.
